You only ever have to do this once.
Use the USB-C cable. Then press the button and pick the board from the list your browser pops up. It will be the only thing in it.
Your board left the office one version behind, so it does not have
the dashboard on it yet. This puts it on. Takes about a minute, and
it keeps your wifi settings.
When it finishes, press Connect the probe once more so this
page can check it worked. If the button does nothing, unplug the
board, plug it back in, and try again. If it still will not go, use
the other USB-C port and pick the other device in the list.
Then you can unplug it from the computer for good and watch the temperature from your phone instead.
Your board is on the newest version and on your wifi. From now on you do not need this website or the cable at all. Just open its address on your phone or laptop, and bookmark it.

Takes about a minute. Leave it plugged in the whole time.
If it does not work: unplug it, plug it back in, and press Update
again. If it still will not go, use the other USB-C port on the
board and pick the other device from the list. The two ports reach the
chip by different routes, and the second one can restart it into update
mode using nothing but software, so there is no button to find.
